OCCASIONAL CHAIR COURSE

Create a beautiful chair ideal for a bedroom.

 

The course will start with the design stage allowing you to plan the finished shape and detailing. With the addition of piping, buttons or even the use of multiple fabrics you will be able to create a stunning piece that could also befit other spaces such as a bathroom, small sitting room, as a telephone chair in a hallway or on a landing. You will have a choice of quality paints and waxes for finishing the legs of your stool to match your fabric.

 

Course Cost:

Frame & resources* - £135 (plus 2-3m of fabric - not included)

Plus Tuition - Approximate time to complete 24 hours (8 x 3 hours sessions)

*The frame provided is a hand-made hardwood chair frame.

This course is not suitable for beginners. 

​

NOTE: It is possible to add deep-buttoning to this chair. This would require an additional booking of 6 hours. Some previous experience of deep buttoning is advisable. Frames are supplied with standard legs – alternatives are available (additional costs may apply) simply ask at the time of booking.
